Is there anything I can do to increase the broadcasting/transmitting range of my FreedomFi 5G setup so I can cover more area around me?
With IoT and WiFi technology, it is possible to boost transmission area by using an RF amplifier. However with CBRS devices, this is not allowed in the USA per FCC regulations. Read more here.
While amplification devices may be available in other countries for CBRS frequency range, use of these devices is not permitted in the USA, and will not be offered by Rokland Technologies.
When setting up your 5G transmitter operating in the CBRS bands, choose an open area with a lot of cell phone use nearby. See our guide here for more recommendations.
