Our MISSION series is designed for extended outdoor use on top of tall buildings. Enterprise class, they meet the same outdoor weatherproof standards as all Rokland antennas. It is Helium compatible and can be used with other 915 Mhz technologies as well.

Our MISSION series antennas are an advancement in casing and height, and are designed to last longer on top of tall buildings and in harsh elements.
Other Rokland antennas are high quality build, and changing from our standard series 8 dBi antenna to the MISSION 8 may not yield any different rewards in residential areas. For building tops we recommend the MISSION6 or MISSION8 for long lasting deployment, Our MISSION series are also great choices for military IOT deployment
This antenna is compatible with the RAK V2, Bobcat 300, Nebra Indoor, SenseCAP M1, Kerlink, Linxdot, SyncroB.it, Helium Hotspot, Kerlink, FreedomFi & LongAP, but requires an RP-SMA male to N-female coaxial cable to fit, and we carry compatible coaxial cables. This antenna also works with other Helium hotspots (such as the Nebra Outdoor) but may need different cable connectors, please contact our sales staff if needed.

Replaced my 4db "Nanntenna" with this 8bd Rokland. Seemed to be of good quality and build. The shielded cable was impressive. Installed it immediately. I have seen no change in beacons witnessed or in the distance of reach. If anything I'm actually down 28% over the last 7 days. Now I know the bandwidth is narrower but I'm still seeing beacons nearby and the reach seems to be the same or shorter. Doesn't make much sense. It's mounted 7m up on the roof. Love the cabling though.
We are happy to do an evaluation of your area to see what's going on. A higher gain antenna does reduce your vertical path but increases distance assuming no major obstacles. Depending where other hotspots are (or aren't), it may appear you have no additional reach if your witnessed count remains the same, when in fact there just may not be more hotspots in the expanded distance or there may be obstacles blocking reception.
