75 ft. Antenna extension coaxial cable N-Male to N-male PFP-600 low loss

$99.00

We have this special low loss PFP-600 coaxial extension cable, The connectors on the cable are N-male and N-male. This will connect between an N-female antenna and a Nebra Outdoor which also has an N-female connector. We do have pigtails to connect this cable to your Bobcat, RAK, Nebra Indoor or SyncroB.it miners. This cable is 75 feet in length and comes with special PFP-600 grade shielding to keep your dB loss as low as possible for your Helium mining setup.

How does PFP-600 grade cable compare to Times Microwave LMR-600?

600 is the grade of shielding which indicates how thick the cable is, and how well it is insulated against gain loss. LMR-600 is manufactured by Times Microwave. PFP-600 is an equivalent shielding made by a different manufacturer, with the same gain loss ratings. What is gain loss? The antenna to which you will connect this has a gain. As the cable in between the antenna and device gets longer, you will experience cable loss, which is a drop in the signal gain of the antenna. With low-quality extension cables, the huge drop in gain will mean a much lesser range. Our special low-loss cable limits the cable loss factor. A 600 grade is recommended for a cable that is 75 ft. long.

We do recommend RokTape to seal all outdoor connection points.

Compare gain loss (of cable only, not including pigtail adapter):

915 MHz application: -1.8 dB (Helium mining/LoRa device)
WiFi 2.4 GHz application: -3.2 dB (standard home WiFi networking)
WiFi 5 GHz application: -4.9 dB (dual-band 2.4/5 GHz WiFi to 5 GHz networks)

Compare this to a cheaper RG-58 shielded cable of the same length- the gain-loss would be -10.3 dB for 915 MHz, -19.3 dB for 2.4 GHz WiFi, and a whopping -32.3 dB for 5 GHz WiFi

That means standard RG-58 cables have about 2x times as much gain loss as this cable!

Great People and Great Service

When I ordered the cable and fittings I thought I needed, a Rokland representative called me to make sure I had ordered the correct ones. Glad he did because I would’ve ended up having to reorder. Saved me time and a headache. I will definitely order items from them in the future. The cable I received was exactly what I needed and is already installed. Thanks
