Many of you may be familiar with Alfa Network's groundbreaking R36 router from a few years back. This was the only router of its kind that allowed you to use an Alfa USB Wi-Fi adapter to extend range of a distant Wi-Fi signal and share it as your own private hotspot.
Alfa has released a new version of this router called R36A, which features internal enhancements offering users faster throughput speeds, better performance, and the ability to handle more users online at one time. It also has an overhauled 2-screen setup interface, reducing setup time and making the experience much easier.
It remains a 2.4 GHz product so as to have maximum power (dual band devices must have less power per FCC regulations).
Existing owners of an R36 should know before upgrading that R36A is compatible with AWUS036NH, AWUS036NEH, and Alfa Tube-U(N) USB Wi-Fi adapters. Older models AWUS036H and AWUS036NHR are not compatible with R36A.
Thank you for the feedback. One thing I want to know. Is this compatible with alfa tube tube-uac2?. I did research and I found out alfa tube-uac2 is compatible in r36a when I try to search in alfa.com.tw but I search in your product it will be comptible this 2020
Hi Arwin- the AWUS036ACH is not compatible with R36A. R36A requires an AWUS036NH, AWUS036NEH, or Alfa Tube-U(N).
Is this compatible with alfa awus036ach?
