Is this display multitouch-enabled?

Yes, the display supports up to 5 simultaneous touch points.

How do I connect the GIGA Display Shield to the GIGA R1 WiFi?

The GIGA Display Shield connects via the middle headers (J5 and J6) on the GIGA R1 WiFi. Attach the shield from the bottom, leaving the top side of the GIGA R1 WiFi available for additional shields.

Will I still have access to all pins when the display is attached?

Yes, you will retain access to all pins on the top side of the board (54 pins) even when the display is connected.

Does the shield require an external power supply?

No, the GIGA Display Shield does not require an external power supply. It is powered directly through the connection.

Which cameras are compatible with the shield?

The GIGA Display Shield is fully compatible with 20-pin DVP cameras from Arducam, such as the OV7675. For more information, visit the Arducam catalog of compatible cameras.

In which direction is the camera connector oriented?

The camera connector pinout is configured to ensure that compatible Arducam models face the same direction as the screen, resembling a selfie mode for a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Expedited shipping orders placed before 3PM EST weekdays will ship that day. Standard shipping orders ship within 1 business day.

Sales tax: shipments shipped to states in which we are registered to collect tax will have appropriate tax added at checkout. Tax exempt forms can be sent to our support staff who can activate exemption status.

Lost packages and insurance

International Shipping:

Shipping options are visible in cart by using the shipping estimator. Transit times posted are estimates. International packages are subject to customs holds and duty payment may be required by your government on delivery. The cost of duty is not reimbursable. Internatonal shipping charges are not refundable in the event of a return.

Bulk/High Value Order Returns

Due to the labor required to package and ship bulk orders, as well as cost and stock issues involved in replenishing items, bulk orders of 5 pieces or more are not returnable unless the equipment is defective or mis-advertised, or a return period is prenegotiated. For non-defective returns over $500, a restocking fee may be deducted from the refund to cover bank or card processing fees.

Backorder/Preorder

Items on backorder or preorder will ship as estimated on the item page. You can cancel an order any time up until shipment. Orders with expedited shipping will arrive in the advertised time after the order ships, not after the order is placed.
