The APA05-5GHz Wi-Fi Signal Booster is a highly efficient and compact unit designed to increase the performance and range of any 5 GHz wireless transmitter with an RP-SMA antenna connector. Note this model is only for 5 GHz. If you need a Wi-Fi signal booster for 2.4 GHz, check our model AOA05.
In our photos we show the device being connected to a WiFi router. The WiFi router is not included and is shown for demonstration only.
This is different from our ALFA USB WiFi boosters which also serve as WiFi receivers. This is not a receiver and cannot pickup WiFi signals on its own. It is an AC-powered pen booster designed to be connected to the RP-SMA antenna port of a 5 GHz transmitter (AP or router), and the antenna for the AP or router is then connected to it.
The APA05-5GHz extends signal range, and in certain conditions, can double the range of these wireless devices. This eliminates the use of an additional radio with its associated data line, power outlet, signal interference, and setup headaches. The APA05-5GHz is the fast and easy way to extend your 5 GHz signal range in any environment.
The max input of this device is 100 mW, so it should not be used in conjunction with a WiFi router already transmitting over 100 mW.

Expedited shipping orders placed before 3PM EST weekdays will ship that day. Standard shipping orders ship within 1 business day.

Lost packages and insurance
International Shipping:
Shipping options are visible in cart by using the shipping estimator. Transit times posted are estimates. International packages are subject to customs holds and duty payment may be required by your government on delivery. The cost of duty is not reimbursable. Internatonal shipping charges are not refundable in the event of a return.

Bulk/High Value Order Returns
Due to the labor required to package and ship bulk orders, as well as cost and stock issues involved in replenishing items, bulk orders of 5 pieces or more are not returnable unless the equipment is defective or mis-advertised, or a return period is prenegotiated. For non-defective returns over $500, a restocking fee may be deducted from the refund to cover bank or card processing fees.
Backorder/Preorder
Items on backorder or preorder will ship as estimated on the item page. You can cancel an order any time up until shipment. Orders with expedited shipping will arrive in the advertised time after the order ships, not after the order is placed.
