The US Postal service increased postage rates today, and UPS has also increased rates this January.
The good news is have not made any changes in our standard US shipping. Our FREE Standard Saver shipping remains free for all products on our web site!
Unfortunately due to a historic and unprecedented 59% hike in International postage, we have increased rates to Canada. For small packages the increase is from $5.00 to $7.95. For other packages the increase averages about $4.95 per shipment. Previously legislation has capped Postal rate hikes to limit the amount of annual rate increases, but as the government looks for new ways to increase revenue and taxes, in October these caps were removed for some methods of shipping. Similar historic hikes may be happening for domestic package services in 2014.
For UPS 2 Day Guaranteed service, or rate has increased from $20.00 to $22.75 at the 1 lb rate, and from $24.00 to $26.00 at the 2 lb rate.
