Update 9/3/2019
We are fortunate that it appears Dorian will not have a direct hit on Florida. We are still under tropical storm advisory conditions for Wednesday, 9/4. FedEx suspended Air services today, 9/3, and they may be suspended 9/4 also. We will reach out to affected customers about the delay if service is not resumed on 9/4.
The Post Office locations in Gainesville closed earlier, today, 9/3. We will post an update if Post Offices are also closed tomorrow.

We all know there are a lot more important things to deal with when a hurricane is coming than an online order. But many of you may not know that Rokland Technologies is in Gainesville, Florida, so even if you are nowhere near the east coast, your order may be impacted and that matters to us. And while we may need to close next week so our employees can stay home and be safe from the storm, we are still committed to minimizing disruptions to your order experience.
With this also being Labor Day weekend, we are open today, Saturday August 31st, to ensure as many orders can ship out of this area as possible before the storm comes this way. All US Mail orders placed by 1PM EST today will ship today. Where delivery times appear quicker, we will also change expedited FedEx or UPS orders to expedited Postal options so they can ship today, instead of waiting until Tuesday when shipping carriers reopen from Labor Day.
If Dorian does disrupt deliveries, here is what we will do to mitigate your down time:
1. Standard packages: free replacement will be shipped if your tracking is not updated in 5 business days.
2. Expedited packages: free replacement will be shipped if your tracking is not updated in 3 business days
If your order is time sensitive and the tracking shows it appears to be disrupted and will not arrive on time, please *email us* to communicate as phone lines may be down.
