Meshtastic App (iPhone) - MAC Address Fix |
*Ensure node is paired with iPhone Meshtastic App* 1.) Within the Meshtastic App, Tap the Settings Icon. 2.) Scroll down to the Device Configuration Section and tap the Device option. 3.) Tap the Factory Reset button. 4.) Tap "Factory reset your device and app?". 5.) Wait for node to reboot. (After device reboots you will need to pair and set region.) |

*Ensure node is paired with Android Meshtastic App* 1.) Within the Meshtastic app, tap the 3 dots near the top right corner of the screen. 2.) Tap Radio Configuration. 3.) Scroll down to the bottom and Tap the Factory reset button. 4.) Tap the Send button. 5.) Wait for node to reboot, then close out of the 0% box. (After device reboots you will need to pair and set region.) |

*Ensure node is connected via USB to PC, then visit https://client.meshtastic.org/ using Google Chrome Browser.* 1.) Within the Meshtastic Web Client, Click New Connection. 2.) Click the Serial Tab. 3.) Click New device 4.) Click the COM port your device is associated with, then click Connect. (If you are unsure which COM port the node is associated with simply unplug the node and see which one disappears.) 5.) Click the [# X - XXXX - XXXXX] that appears. 6.) In the bottom left corner of the Web Client, Tap the Search Icon that looks like a magnifying glass. 7.) Scroll down and click Factory Erase Option. (The node will reboot, but the Web Client will make it seem like nothing changed unless you refresh the page.) |
