EDIT: Bandpass Filters are HERE! Click to go to the item page
In simplest terms, a bandpass filter is "a device that passes frequencies within a certain range and rejects frequencies outside that range.
Essentially, the clean up area around your Helium miner or WiFi router, rejecting frequency interference from other ranges. Helium operates on the 915 MHz frequency range, while WiFi operates at both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
Bandpass filters do not boost range. In fact, they do have insertion loss of around 2-2.5 dB, which can reduce overall range. We recommend filters for areas where your range is good, but there is a heavy concentration of RF signals in the area. This can help "clean" or reduce the area of noise for your miner or WiFi router. The diagrams below are not an exact representation of how bandpass filters work, but rather illustrations to show you that in the right environment, the range impact of a filter may not matter, and the filter may help improve performance.
Our first filter is coming April 2022.
