Summer 2020 COVID-19 Update
Greetings from Gainesville, Florida. We hope all of you are having a good summer under the circumstances. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues its serious impact across the country, we count ourselves lucky that none of our employees or their family members have had to deal with the virus yet. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted.
All that said, we continue to take precautions, including following local guidelines for local pickup orders.
We remain open for normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM EST. We are seeing US Postal shipping delays in some cases. On rare occasion routes normally taking 2-4 days are taking 1 to 2 weeks due to US Postal distribution center backlog. We have seen this primarily in California, Michigan, and New York, but other areas as well.
We ask for your continued patience when inquiring about your tracking. We do not have any affiliation with the Post Office and once shipped, we cannot impact transit times. Sending a replacement for a delayed shipment will cause the replacement to also be delayed and contributes to the backlog. If you need your order by a certain date, please consider expedited options at checkout or call us. Carrier based services, like FedEx 2 Day, are more reliable and faster than Post Office based options right now.
