This is an OEM ALFA 8m (~24 feet) USB Y cable with standard USB Type A male connectors on one end, and a USB mini connector on the other end. This is a replacement cable for AFLA parts UBDo-gt8 and UBDo-nt8. It can also be used with other USB devices that have a mini connector. It is not an active repeater cable, it is a passive cable with extra thick shielding to insulate against loss. The dual connectors allow you to use two USB ports on a computer to get full power to the USB adapter over the long distance of the cable.
This cable allows you to place your long range Wi-Fi adapter (or any USB device for that matter) up to 16 feet away from the computer. If your computer is located away from a window, use this cable to put your Wi-Fi adapter closer to the window for improved reception.
