ALFA AWUS036ACH is a long range dual antenna 867 Mbps Wi-Fi USB adapter compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10. It features two RP-SMA antenna ports, and two 5 dBi dual-band antennas. The antennas are detachable and can be upgraded. It also has a power amplifier that increases it's reception range compared to ALFA's earlier model AWUS036AC.
This is capable of receiving and transmitting on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz bands. With 802.11ac standard routers, AWUS036ACH can achieve throughput speeds up to 867 Mbps, almost three times that of the 802.11n maximum of 300 Mbps. This adapter is backward compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g networks, but will have limited speed with those networks. An 802.11ac router is required for the maximum throughput.
The high receive sensitivity coupled with the internal power amplifier also allow it to pick up Wi-Fi signals from up to 3 times the distance of newer internal 802.11ac Wi-Fi cards shipping inside today's laptops. This is brand new in retail box and includes the adapter, two 5 dBi dual-band antennas, driver CD, and USB docking base. We buy direct from ALFA and are an authorized retailer of ALFA products. Check directly with ALFA to verify you are getting a 100% genuine ALFA adapter.
It will work with any computer that has an available USB port and Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10. Kali Linux version 2017.1 now supports packet injection for this adapter. Read more at http://rok.land/AWUS036ACH_Kali
-USB 3.0 port required for max speed, though is compatible with USB 2.0 ports also at a max speed of 480 mbps. This works on Microsoft Surface Pro tablets running Windows 8/10 (requires driver download) but does NOT work with Windows Surface RT tablets or other tablets/laptops running Microsoft Surface RT, which looks like Windows 8 but is actually a locked down version of Windows that does not support 3rd party drivers.
- Enterprise-class 64/128 WEP encryption, WPA, WPA-PSK, WPA2, 802.1X support
- 867 mbps High-Speed Transfer Rate for 802.11ac
- USB 3.0 compliant (backward compatible with USB 2)
- Compatible with 2.4 & 5 GHz WiFi networks
- Compatible with 5 GHz DFS channels
- ONE YEAR manufacturer's warranty

I have purchased devices off of Amazon and have dealt with the ebay style scorn of getting devices that absolutely do not work!!! This device and the site in general. Look no further if you're looking for devices that just plain work!
I will be a repeat customer!
I have been testing adapters by accessing the public portal pages of Infinity wifi, hosted on residential Comcast hubs. With the included 5 dB whips, the Alfa mono band 2.4 gHz, 802.11n adapters are clearly superior. But when an 8dB dual-band panel is mounted to the AWUS036ACH, the comparison flips. I get a more consistent 72mb/s on the 2.4 gHz band with the AWUS036ACH than with the mono band adapters in combination with various other comparable antennas.
I purchased same adapter for $80 something from amazon and double than yours He is also problem seller he pretty expensive i should return and get from you
Bought for Kali, initial out of box testing on Mint; after console based driver install my laptop could suddenly see 25 nearby wifi networks, rather than the 4 previous ones (with onboard wireless card).
Network manager showed full 867M/bs link speed. So cool.
Setup on desktop workstation in remote room, 5Ghz signal strength rose from 60% on asus nano dongle to 75% on the Alfa.
Speedtests at ookla and testmynet showed increases as well, by a few percent.
Loving the card, 33% cheaper than amazon, fast shipping with tracking and prompt email updates. Thank You!
